## What We Collect

Device information. When you visit the Site, we automatically collect technical information about your device and how you interact with the Site: browser type and version, IP address, time zone, screen size, operating system, pages you view, products you click on, search terms you enter, and the time and length of your visit. We collect this through cookies, log files, and similar tracking technologies. We use it to load the Site correctly for you and to understand how customers use the Site so we can improve it.

Order information. When you place an order, we collect what's needed to fulfill it: your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other payment method), email address, and phone number. We use this to process your payment, ship your order, send order confirmations and shipping updates, and — with your permission — send you news about our products.

Customer support information. If you contact us by email, phone, or live chat with a question or order issue, we collect whatever information you choose to share. We use it to respond to you and resolve the issue.

## Third Parties We Share With

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business:

- Shopify powers our online store. They process your order information, payment, and Site analytics. Their privacy policy: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
- Payment processors (Shopify Payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay) handle your payment securely. We do not store your full credit card number.
- Google Analytics 4 helps us understand how customers find and use the Site. Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Microsoft Clarity records anonymized session replays and heatmaps so we can see where customers get stuck on the Site and improve it. Clarity does not collect names, addresses, or payment details. Microsoft's privacy statement: https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-us/privacystatement. Clarity tracking only runs if you accept cookies in our consent banner.
- Shipping carriers (currently UPS) receive your shipping address and contact information to deliver your order.

We may also share information when legally required — for example, in response to a valid subpoena, court order, or government request.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers. We do not engage in behavioral advertising or targeted retargeting.

## Cookies

A cookie is a small file your browser stores when you visit a website. We use cookies to keep your shopping cart working, remember your preferences, secure your login, and understand Site usage.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Site (especially the checkout process) may not work without them.

The Site uses two categories of cookies:

- Essential cookies keep the cart, checkout, and login working. Required for the Site to function.
- Analytics cookies (Shopify analytics, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) help us understand how the Site is used. Optional — you can decline these in our cookie consent banner.

A full technical list of Shopify's standard cookies is maintained at https://www.shopify.com/legal/cookies. Microsoft Clarity adds two cookies when enabled: _clck (persists a Clarity user ID across visits) and _clsk (groups a single session's page views into one recording).

## Your Rights

You can ask us to:
- Show you what personal information we have about you
- Correct information that's wrong
- Delete your personal information from our records (subject to legal retention requirements, such as tax records for completed orders)
- Stop sending you marketing emails (you can also unsubscribe directly from any marketing email)

Email sales@dallasbakery.com with your request. We respond within a reasonable time.

## Children Under 13

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us at the email above, and we will delete it.

## Retention

We keep your personal information for as long as you have an account with us or as needed to provide our services. We retain order records for longer periods where required by tax or accounting law. You can ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact information above.

## Fraud Prevention

Our payment processor, Shopify, maintains short-lived blacklists of IP addresses and credit cards associated with repeated failed transactions to prevent fraud. These blacklists last hours to days and do not affect legitimate customers.

## Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices change. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated through the Site or by email if you have an account.
